Mary Toalson is an award winning photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She specializes in Nature photography.  What started as a hobby... has now become a passion. 

She is President of the Millbrae Camera Club and has held many positions in the club. She has won awards for her work at the Millbrae Camera Club, Mid Peninsula Photographic Alliance, Northern California Council of Camera Clubs, and Foto Clave.  She has won Color Print of the Year and Color Slide of the Year and Black and White Print of the year many times.
 
She has had her work published in the magazine, Photographer's Edge.  She has bird pictures on a permanent display at the new Redwood Shores Library Interpretive Center in Redwood Shores.

Her photography has won Gold and Silver Awards at the San Mateo County Fair and the Alameda County Fair where she has also sold her work.  She has sold her photographs at the Millbrae Arts Association’s Spring Art Show.  Mary has sold her images on photo greeting cards at The Belmont Twin Pine’s Holiday Craft Faire, Sherri’s Hallmark store in Foster City, and the UPS store in San Mateo.  Her photography was on display for a month at Variety Gallery on Market  St. in San Francisco.  She had a solo, juried show at the Uptown Café in San Carlos and at the Burlingame Library.  Her photography was purchased to decorate a Biotech office in Sunnyvale and the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose.  Her work has been used for advertising with Real Estate and private business.  Her latest juried show was “Art in the Garden” in San Mateo.
 

Her camera is a Digital SLR Canon 20D.  She uses Epson Ultra Chrome K3 archival inks and all her matting materials are acid free for long lasting enjoyment. She makes fine art photo cards.
